The Apple TV+ six-month free trial is available to Sky VIP customers – a loyalty scheme that is open to anyone who owns a Sky product that is completely free to sign up for. Any customer can take advantage of the Apple TV+ deal – whether you have signed up for the streaming service before or not. This usually costs £6.99 per month. To get VIP, log into the My Sky app on your iOS or Android device. Then, click on the Sky VIP star on the bottom right-hand corner, tap ‘giveaways’ and scroll down to the bottom of the page. This deal is available until 31 March 2022, so you have plenty of time to take advantage and stream shows such as Ted Lasso, Severance and Slow Horses. The free festive movies available to Sky TV and broadband customers are How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Love Actually – a family favourite and a classic rom-com. These films are available to stream until 31 December on the Sky Store, which you can access either on your set-top box, or by logging in on the website. Free access to the Sky Showcase channel is open from 12 to 27 December to TV customers (regardless of your package), and includes access to Elf, The Polar Express and A Boy Called Christmas, as well as select sporting events such as the English Football League match Sunderland v Blackburn and the World Darts Championship. Finally, on Christmas Day you can keep in touch with loved ones for no extra cost if you have a Sky Talk landline package. Sky Mobile video calls are all free on this day also, as well as on Boxing Day.
